On Independence Day we got a lot of work done in the morning and finally finished a big project that we had been working on. We'll talk more about that perhaps tomorrow. Then we loaded up and drove to my parents' home where we had a good old fashioned 4th of July barbecue with burgers, sausage, potato salad, corn on the cob and watermelon and then enjoyed watching some fireworks. It was a nice relaxing afternoon.
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free. God Bless America!
